About the Role

Rahma Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team with a focus on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and superior patient care. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to all legal and ethical standards while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling.
• Supervise, mentor, and train pharmacy staff to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to NYS and federal pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance protocols.
• Manage inventory control, procurement, and loss prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and company policies.
• Uphold exceptional customer service and resolve patient concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of pharmacy practice (prior supervisory/management experience preferred).

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy law, HIPAA, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.
